Rights & Responsibilities
The English Department at SLU believes that a successful internship is one that imparts a meaningful exchange of benefits for both the student and the sponsor. The student gains a significant educational experience, and the sponsor is able to harness the talent and energy of a new contributor to the workplace.
This process requires the coordinated efforts and commitment of three parties: students, sponsors, faculty advisors. The English Department asks that these three parties agree to the following the rights & responsibilities at the outset of each internship experience.
